Drawer box in forest green, wax-sealed tissue

A Jaipur workshop making boxes people keep.
PACKARCS designs and builds rigid boxes, drawer boxes and presentation packaging for brands that sell something worth unwrapping slowly: jewellery, fragrance, clothing, sweets, gifts.
Every box starts as a dieline drawn to your product's real size. Greyboard is cut, wrapped in paper or cloth by hand, then finished with foil, emboss or a quiet blind deboss.

Seven constructions, each drawn to size.
Pick the way the box opens first. Paper, colour and finish come after, and almost any combination works.

01Magnetic closure boxes. 1.5 to 2.5 mm greyboard.
- 01Magnetic closure boxesA one-piece rigid box whose front flap is held shut by two magnets hidden under the wrap.
- 02Drawer boxesA rigid tray that slides out of a wrapped sleeve, usually pulled by a ribbon or a thumb notch.
- 03Lid and base boxesThe classic two-piece rigid box. A full or partial lid sits over a deep base.
- 04Book-style boxesOpens like a hardcover: a hinged front cover over a fixed tray, with a printed spine.
- 05Shoulder neck boxesThree-piece rigid boxes where a visible collar, the neck, sits between lid and base.
- 06Premium folding cartonsSingle-piece cartons in heavy board, for brands that need volume without losing finish.
- 07Printed mailer boxesCorrugated boxes that survive the courier and still look considered when opened.

Fig. 2
The opening is part of the product.
Drawer box, 2 mm greyboard sleeve, uncoated forest green wrap, tissue closed with a cast wax seal.
Four parts, all of them visible to the customer.
A rigid box does not fold flat. Its walls are thick board, so it holds its shape in the hand and on the shelf. What makes it feel expensive is how cleanly the paper turns over each edge, and how snugly the insert holds the product.

From a photo of your product to cartons at your door.
You see a plain sample for fit and a printed sample for colour before a single production sheet is cut.
- 01
Brief
Tell us what goes inside, how many you need and where it is sold. A photo of the product and its measurements are enough to start.
- 02
Structure
We choose the construction and draw a dieline to the product's real dimensions, with clearance for inserts and tissue.
- 03
Sample
A plain white sample checks fit. A printed sample checks colour, foil and finish. Nothing goes to production until you sign off.
- 04
Production
Board is cut, papers are printed and finished, and each box is wrapped and pressed on our line.
- 05
Check & pack
Boxes are inspected for corners, glue lines and foil registration, then packed in cartons for transit.
- 06
Dispatch
Shipped from Jaipur by surface or air freight anywhere in India, with tracking shared on WhatsApp.

- Packaging by industry
Made mostly of paper, and meant to be kept.
Greyboard and paper are recyclable. FSC-certified board, paper inserts instead of foam, and uncoated wraps instead of lamination are all on the table if you ask. A box that ends up holding letters or jewellery for years is the best version of all.
Lower-impact choices
